Orthotics in Vernon
Support for Everyday Comfort

Foot and heel discomfort can slow you down—especially on hard floors all day. If your first steps are uncomfortable, your arches feel tired, or your knees and back ache by evening, custom orthotics may be one option to consider. At Lakeside Align Chiropractic, we fit Footmaxx® orthotics to support your feet and posture. Dr. Keegan or Dr. Michelle may suggest these shoe inserts during your visit when foot mechanics appear to be contributing to your discomfort.
Why Choose Custom Orthotics?
Footmaxx orthotics are custom-made insoles created from your unique foot imprint. With a quick foam-box cast, we capture how your foot loads and the shape of your arches; the lab then fabricates an insert that redistributes pressure to support more balanced loading.
Unlike store-bought inserts, these custom devices are designed to address your specific foot characteristics. That level of customization is intended to support the plantar fascia, reduce excess stress on joints, and help make work, walking, and exercise feel easier over time for many people. Individual experiences vary.
Who May Benefit From These Insoles
Orthotics may be considered if you experience any of the following:
- Plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, or stubborn heel pain
- Flat feet, high arches, or arch pain
- Bunions
- Knee, hip, or low-back discomfort that may be influenced by how your feet move and bear weight
- Jobs with long hours on hard floors (nurses, mechanics, loggers)
These insoles are often used alongside posture-focused chiropractic care. When your feet are better supported, some people feel it is easier for their body to maintain a more comfortable posture and move with less strain. Unsure if they’re right for you? Dr. Keegan or Dr. Michelle will assess your gait and discuss whether foot support might help reduce fatigue or irritation for you.
Fast, Simple Fitting and Turnaround
Most fittings start with a brief conversation during your adjustment. We’ll book a dedicated fitting or combine it with your next visit. Casting takes about 15 minutes using a Footmaxx foam box, and impressions are shipped to the lab. Turnaround is typically two to four weeks. At pickup, we check the fit, review break‑in tips, and provide paperwork for benefits; some plans cover orthotics, though coverage varies.
